Never say “I know” – the heart of improvement loops

Date: October 28, 2016  Posted in: Commentary  Comments: 0

What is Continuous Improvement? There is always room for improvement and this includes not only the world around us but in you as well. When applied to business you should never say “I know” but rather you should take a look at the situation or the process and see how it can be improved on. Because again, everything is a constant work in progress with both ourselves and in business.

Key Takeaways:

  • We can find new opportunities when we accept that we don’t know everything and are open to new knowledge.
  • Every situation can be improved, no matter how perfect you think it is.
  • Continuous learning will help us improve as professionals and people.

“At it’s heart is the idea that any system or situation can be improved. Most times these improvements are incremental adjustments toward the goal.”
